One pound of Vanilla Paste made from ground Premium Bourbon Vanilla Beans and Pure Vanilla Extract.  This is about 3.5 times stronger than vanilla extract.  The alcohol content is 27%.

Professional chefs love it for the rich vanilla taste it imparts as well as the specs that it introduces to the final product.

Vanilla paste from Nielsen Massey (and other manufacturers) is very different from ours.  Theirs is a sweetened extract that is thickened with gum tragacanth.  Post-extraction vanilla seeds are added for the visual effect and contribute nothing to the flavor.

Our product contains a large amount of ground vanilla beans in a pure vanilla extract base.  Less than one half of one percent (by weight) of xanthan gum is used.

Our paste is more concentrated and is more likely to withstand high temperatures. 

Many chefs compare by tasting things straight up (from the bottle) and choose whatever is sweet to the taste.  Our product does not contain sugar (or corn syrup) and so chefs need to understand that our product is unsweetened and concentrated and that it should be tested in a recipe rather than directly from the jar.   Once a chef decides to try our whole vanilla bean paste, they will be amazed at the fullness of the flavor.

Vanilla is bitter especially when concentrated.  Because our product is concentrated, it is easy to go overboard  and use too much vanilla.  We recommend testing on a smaller scale to get the perfect dosage.

This must ship by ground because it contains alcohol, and we cannot ship it outside of the U.S.
